The St. Peter/St. Francis Home and School Association is excited about the start of another school year.
The Officers for the 2008-2009 school year are:

Our goals for the year are to have fun, build lasting relationships, and to enjoy the community of St. Peter/St. Francis School while providing the financial support so vital to the school’s economic success. We would like to increase the number of parents who are actively involved in the Home and School Association by instituting a network of class representatives. We would like to have at least two representatives from each class to work with the Home and School Association for events, fundraisers, volunteer opportunities and most importantly to share input from their class. We welcome any and all new ideas to make this school year a great success and we look forward to working together as a team. More information will be sent out after school begins.
Each month we plan to send home a Home and School Association calendar along with the school’s calendar and lunch menu. That way we will all be up-to-date on events, fundraising opportunities and news. If you ever have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact the school or any of the Home and School Association Officers.
We look forward to seeing everyone at the school picnic on Monday, August 25, 2008. This is a great opportunity for the students and their families to reacquaint themselves with each other, enjoy delicious food and to have an opportunity to meet their new teachers and see their classrooms. Please send in your reservation forms as soon as possible so that we may plan accordingly.
We hope you are enjoying these final weeks of summer vacation. Let us all work together to make this year a huge success for both our children and our school. We can enjoy ourselves while building friendships that can last a lifetime. May God bless you and your families.
